so i looked u up on facebook as i have a lot of downtime at work right now and found this fun little blog spot. i really enjoyed this little rant in particular. hits home for a guy like me. something i struggle with more and more with every trip i make home and every conversation i have with friends and family there. although, i think u should give trees and open space a little more credit… they are probably more a part of u than u even know

i look forward to some more interesting posts.

for the record… i finished that peanut butter & whipped deliciousness pie on sunday. but my powers of rationalization are strong enough to fend off the remorse. “but that was PIE! justin is talking about CAKE!! now, where is the rest of that pastry….?”

do you like that i am just now catching up on your blog? what’s that i smell? oh yes, MY new years resolution- being more nosy. i hate failure, thus i’ve decided to set the bar exceptionally low. i found the conclusion of this post particularly disappointing, especially when i was lured into reading by the visual at its start. NO t-bell? blasphemy. given tuesday’s tragic news of the passing of mr. bell, we should be challenged to honor his memory. this ties directly into my second new year’s resolution- honing my rationalization skills. hey, whatever keeps me elbows deep in mystery meat tacos…

you make my heart smile. and your class sounds nicer than mine. i totally get judgement eyes for my lack of appropriate footwear. but you know what?? i flat out refuse to buy spinning shoes. i want nothing to do with those self important trixies, prancing around in their too-tight shorts and their shoes all clackity clacking through the gym. (oh crap, is my inferiority complex showing??)

the “baggage” comment kills me. love it. totally wrote a poem on a flight the other day inspired by the hilarity of a sticker on my bag that said “security checked baggage.” as if a little x-ray could begin to weed out the horror that just might be my own baggage.
